So, where you guys from, with this "make it
a changeling" routine? Isn't this something
from fairy tales or folklore?

Why not give out copies of eCom Station? The contest? Nothing more than indicating you're still trying to use OS/2 in the face of mounting adversity. Have a drawing. Draw all
the cards. Figure out a way to pay for your
contest.

This runs in parallel with buying OS/2, because you know in your heart it is the best system, installing it on all the machines in your business, and then trying to figure out how to make money to buy more systems when you're out of sync with everybody else with whom you need to do business.

Well, we're trying to get our hands on couple of eCS if that makes You more happy. But, what we have current to be used as give aways is bunch of WSFeB, VAC++ v4.0 and VAJ v3.5 for NT... (hmm last version for OS2 was v3.02 something).

That certainly could be done but what would picking a name out of a hat accomplish besides getting a free copy of the OS in someone's hands? Not to pound on my ideas (others certainly will come up with something better) but even a screenshot contest adds something to the "OS/2 community" - if you want to call it that. From OS/2world's perspective, it would get some people to come back to this site just to check out the entries. It might give other users some ideas about what they could do to improve their systems and show how Warp can be a flexible and visually appealing OS. It could also give some OS/2 software authors (free and commercial) some needed exposure.

I guess I wouldn't look for it to be "challenging" but rather something that has some relevance to OS/2 users. Whatever the contest ends up being, I'd like to see it be something that is interesting to a large number of OS/2 users and maybe provides some useful information.

Something like a contest to see who can provide the best or most useful OS/2 tricks or tips would be a good idea.
