| I have a PS/2 with OS/2 installed and it is failing to start. I am looking for startup disks so I can at least copy some files off the disk. I think the sector is bad... I am having a hard time finding an emergency startup disk to at least access the hard drive.... |

| Does the system attempt to boot OS2 at all, ie do you get a white cursor and OS2 text in the upper lefter corner? If not, it might be that the system software that the PS/2 system needs is corrupted on the hard disk. You would then need the system utilities for the PS/2 - What is the Part Number (PN) for your system? |
