I found an USB drive that is part of an id holder. I was thinking of giving them out with the Warpstock information (those who register and arrive). Does this sound like a good idea?

Here is the link to the site. They also do custom usb drives.

Similar thoughts have been considered in the past. The only issue is cost, I didn't request a quote but I would definitely get a quote from them and see what you come up with. One idea would be to see if there is a group willing to sponsor them. Just because we are on the OS2World site (not because I am suggesting they do so) I will use them as an example of what I mean. OS2World could sponsor buying them and have their logo on the drive (maybe OS2World.com WS2007 - not sure how much can go on one in reality). This would give them name exposure and the WarpStock attendees a small token that they can use and would have advertising that others would see as they use it. As I said, I am not suggesting that OS2World do this but being on the site makes it a handy example. The difficulty is at this point that everyone largely already knows most of the things OS/2 related so advertising is of limited benefit compared to the cost. It would be more from those that are interested in supporting Warpstock that would be interested in doing this.

I was not thinking of personalizing it but have make the id holder special by having it be a usb too. Personalizing it is a good idea. Another idea is that the usb drive would hold relevant Warpstock information; schedule, times, etc. I will see about a quote.
