The real joke of the article is the idea that Windows offers an "open standard", and that MS has created an "open standard". Anyone who has watched Microsoft over the years knows that the last thing they've created is open standards. In this regards, the article does suggest that over in Europe they are looking at Linux and Java solutions... this seems much more open to me.On another front, just last week I tried to use a bank machine to get some cash and couldn't. It had blue-screened.
