I think the problem is $$$$$$$. I put up $50 but I don't think that's enough to get anyone out of bed to write the programme .

Hi Frank,

The most informative description I have seen is located here:

I also agree the bounties are a good idea. If nothing else, they help developers understand what users are interested in.

For example, I'd never heard of Lyx before scanning the Bounty page....

For anyone that's interested, I have Lyx compiling but failing at linking due to missing drag/drop in the current qt3 port. When I get some time I'll see about removing the offending code and see if I can get it to link

Cheers,

Paul Smedley.

Paul, if you could get the latest LyX to really work on OS/2 that would be really great. Maybe you could also talk to the porter of Qt about the drag and drop stuff? I'm *so* fed up with the shortcomings of most word processors.

Hi Christian,
I've spoken to the developer about drag/drop - it was his suggestion that it shouldn't have any major impact on functionality - so just comment out the calls.

The problem is that this isn't as simple as it sounds....

Drag/Drop is on Dmitry's list of things to add, but there are some more important things to add first.

Cheers,

Paul.
