They look great, maybe you could work on the screen and system icons a little more. But they all have the same feel and look which is the most important part!

Well, gee! DavidG... *pauses*
I don't think so.

They look pretty good to me.

In fact, I'll put myself on record as saying that I think they're the best System Setup icon set to come around in a very long time!

Hi Ben

Glad you and sXwamp like the icons.
I have uploaded my icons package to Hobbes incoming. This package contains no folder icons. It does contain the above icons and others. I also made an additional screen and system setup program icons in case sXwamp likes the additional ones instead.

DavidG,
I like the icons as well. Thankyou for your work!
The "sound" icon is a bit too simple with respect to the others... something more 3D-ish would integrate better IMHO.
Thankyou!!

I have got an idea for another sound icon. It is just finding the time to do it right now.

I modified the system setup program icons and gave them a rounded edige. Does the rounded edge look better? I don't plan on getting rid of the pointed edge icons, but if people like the rounded edges, I will update the icon package to include the rounded edge icons too.

Yes, they look pretty good.

And it's always nice to have options.

Hi Ben

I just uploaded the system setup folder icons to Hobbes/incoming. This package contains both the pointed and rounded corner icons. It also contains additional system setup icons not found in the previous packages. .

I like the icons very much. I have even replaced some of the resources in several dlls with them. I prefer the rounded ones. Have you considered having the xworkplace icons added to it's code base?

Hi Gregg

I prefer the rounded ones too. I think it is a more modern look. As for the XWP icons, I would not know how to go about seeing if Paul wanted to add them to the code base. He is free to use them if he so wishes. If you want to see if Paul would consider using them, feel free to do so with my blessing.

Hi Gregg

I have created two new XWP icons. If you like, could you please see if these could be added to the code base with Paul''s approval.

Great job on all the new icons and folders your making Dave.

I'm sure I speak for us all when I say they're much appreciated.

I've made a bunch myself over time, but very few of them are worth showing or passing around, being purely functional.

However, I think there are few folders that would be of benefit to many OS/2 -ers: Etc., Bin, Temp, Tmp and Work.

After all the work you've done, (and I know how hard it is to make good icons), I can't ask you to make specials, however, it sure would be nice if some of those appeared in your next release...
