| Based on following news posting I wonder what last is said regarding this topic; actually it would be great to have this tool for OS2. Or is there anything else to use that works out without having to 2000 switches on a CLI based apps? From: Jason Stefanovich BigWarpGuy contacted the author of VCDGear, a very popular, multiplatform vcd building program to ask if the OS/2 version would be updated. The latest Console version is v1.76 build 031231 (Console), the last version for OS/2 is 1.5. There is currently no port of the Windows only gui version. Web site: http://www.vcdgear.com
Here is the reply to an e-mail I sent about VCDGear for OS/2. Anyone interested? BigWarpGuy From: "Dracore --"

| Any idea what would be required to compile it? I mean I have some limited experience programming in C++ for OS/2 and am currently working with OpenWatcom on increasing my knowledge. Maybe we could get a small team together to look at the possibility of compiling it? Shadallark Shadallark running eCS v1.03 on an IBM Aptiva learning to program for OS/2 and eCS! | Well, you know when you are the requestor...or beggar, as it may be. It's kinda in your interest to keep gently poking the person till they deliver. -Jason |

| I sent a couple of e-mails to the VCDGear site owner about the source code and that there are those who wish to compile it for OS/2. I was told that the VCDGear site ( http://www.vcdgear.com ) is being updated. I am not sure what that has to do with the source code request but I will check it out.
