| NEED HELP!!! We are trying to install OS/2 on a ThinkPad G40, which unfortunately or fortunately has a external USB Floppy Drive ONLY and a internal CD Drive. We got all partitions setup fine BUT on using the Three floppies for OS/2 installation it errors out on the third floppy with "cannot recognize device driver". How do we get around this initial glitch of USB Floppy drive. Please respond. Any ideas? Hegde |

| The error is telling you that you don't have a USB floppy driver on your installation diskettes. Plain OS/2 doesn't have USB support (it wasn't common in 1996) Try the free eCS demo CD? <http://www.ecomstation.com/> If that boots on the G40, then look around on that. Neil |
