There is a program / driver (when it was included in config.sys) can show the error encountered in exection of config.sys statements.

Would some one please tell me what it is ? I am sure it was not FFST.

Thanks

Hi Sam,

The CONFIG.SYS is not read line by line, as you probably know, however, when it comes to device drivers, some allow you to put a "/v" (no quotation marks) after a device (.add) driver statement. The switch turns on a verbose mode. I am not sure if this works with all drivers.

Thank first for the information.

I need to clarify my question : When the statement in config.sys is being executed, the message will be scrolled away too fast and missed by sight.

From somewhere, I saw a driver/program which claim it can record all those message during the execution of statments in config.sys. Howerver, I did not record the URL or download it.

Just curious to know what it is and want to test it. This would be quite useful (at least for my daily use).
