Recently i bought a supermicro board with two processors.

I've put all my hard disks, memory and nic on the new server and every thing is working great.

unfortunately smp is not worling.

any thought on how to activated it ?

best regards

When you installed WSFeB the first time I doubt that you picked within the installation setup that you wanted to install the SMP-kernal. So this is what is missing; you have to install the right kernal to support multi CPU.

In your System Setup there is another map called Install/Remove click there on the Selective Install icon. On the 3rd screen you will see the option for SMP-kernal. Mark this one and click next and fullfill the installation of the SMP-kernal.
