| I want to make a backup copie of all my installation disks of OS/2 WARP V3. I can only "diskcopy" (under W2K) disk Installation and disk 1. For all the others I get "no files" on the disk. What can be wrong? How can I copy them? |

| the reason why you can't copy the rest of the diskettes is that data is stored in a special format called XDF. The disks can be copied from os/2 using the XDFCOPY.EXE util. I think a dos version is included in IBM PC DOS ver 7.0. I think there once was a copying program called dcf.exe that could also handle this format, but details are a bit foggy since it's quite a long time ago since i was last through that floppy-hell. |

I do not know if it relates to what you are looing for. BigWarpGuy - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - OS/2 Warp-ed to the very end. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - |
