Asking just to make sure, but it seems like there is no drivers available for the IBM Ethernet II Credit Card (42H9616) for OS2, or?

Kim, what kind of card is that? I couldn't find any information about it (42H9616) on the IBM website... that's a pcmcia card, right? Greetings

Well, sure is old and it might be a re-branded Xircom card. I noticed myself that there is nothing to be found at IBM..... intersting since actually has a PN#. If it's a rebranded Xircom card I assume that it's a dead card then under OS2, or?

Hi Kim,
the reason why I was asking is that there is information about such a card but it's a really old model (with BNC-style connector?) and I'm not sure if this *really* is the right card, but somehow the "product name" matches to some degree... anyway... check here, maybe this will help: http://www.os2forum.or.at/pharmacy/IBMEtherCC.html ...and here's a driver matrix for Lan Server 4 which apparently states that the appropriate driver seems to be bundled with it... thus, LAPS (or MPTS) should show up the card in its list...: http://www.os2bbs.com/file_d/text/ADLS40.TXT Greetings |

From what it looks and as you mention it seems like the mentioned ethernet card uses the same installation diskette, ie IBM Credit Card Ethernet II Adapter Installation Diskette (v2.03) - question is where to find it. The MCP2 that I've installed on the system does not have the card included within the list. Forgot to say that the NIC has no BNC connector; so guess that there is two version of this card; one with BNC connector and one without.
