Hi all, getting ready to go out and get a nic card for os/2 so I can hook up my dsl connection and get away from using windows for internet access. I wonder if you gents would be so kind as to give me some recommendations for specific cards to look at or in lieu of this a nice list of nics with good os/2 support. kind regards,

There is actually a wide range of NIC that you're able to use under os2. I've used during many years 3C905 cards from 3Com. On my fileserver I'm using a Intel onboard NIC that works very well. RealTek is another brand that I've used, works fine but might be a card that I would avoid if I could. So finding a NIC to use for OS2 is really easy. Wlan card might be a bit harder to find, well since the drivers available are other private via software choice or are in beta and not available.... /Kim

WLAN drivers are in beta and are available for beta testers http://www.os2warp.be/wifi/. A login and password must be requested prior to accessing the drivers.
