| Who told you that? I use Lotus SmartSuite 1.7 without problems, except a tiny bug in 1-2-3. The latest release is 1.71 without this bug, according I heard about. Dante |

| The entire Lotus Smart Suite 1.71 is in daily use here. Especially Word Pro, 123, and Organizer. IMO, the suite is VERY stable, fast, and world class. Regards, Sander |

But there are problems with "native characters" support. Here (in Czech Republic) it cannot be used for export to any format (rtf, winword6/95/97/2000/XP) because it treats the special characters wrong. |

| I use both. Lotus 123 for Datasheet Calculations and Papyrus Office for Text. The integrated Database (Papyrus) is in my Opinion much better (easier to use) then Approach. There is a Demo of Papyrus on http://www.romlogicware.com |

| I find that StarOffice 5.1 for OS/2 works fine for me. I also use IBM Works (that came wit h OS/2 Warp ver 4) works for simple letters and spreadsheets). I have read people using OpenOffice with ODIN and OS/2 ( http://groups.yahoo.com/group/odinusers ).
