Recently the Danish Teknologirådet presented an investigation that recommends the Danish public sector to use Open Source based software to lower the license costs. The Danish public service sector would save as much as 600 MUSD if they stoped using Microsoft products per year Not only Microsoft has been an issue also Oracle has been pointed out both from Teknologirådet and as well now also the Swedish Statskontoret released a report with the same recommendation.

Having said above I wonder if there has been posted similar reports / recommendation in other countries ?
