I posted this information (about PARSEC being open sourced) at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/os2-netlabs in hopes someone might see it as a potential port to OS/2 (no response yet).

| As mentioned earlier I'm not the biggest gamer around here, but this would be a game that even I would show interest of. Ok, I haven't really played. But, being a fan of both old Elite and to more modern games such as HomeWorld - even I would look forward to a port for OS2. |

It seems to be a 3d version of a game that I used to play on my TI-99/4A computer (the first computer that I had ever owned [still have it ]).

I clearly recall the TI-99/4A since it goes back to the time when I myself had a Dragon 32. The Dragon 32 home computer was launched 1982 and it was powered by a 6809E at 1.8Mhz (now we are talking speed ).And I still got mine as well. Have you checked out the TI-99er page ?Here is how picture of it, I don't know if it ever was sold in the states. ![]() Guess that this is starting to get out of topic, now. Might over to the emulator section.... |

Yes I know of the TI-99/4A page. I have a 'project' page that I had hoped to recreate the TI-99/4A computer but it has proven far more complicated than I had first realized. The TI-99/4A was fun to use and one only had to hit the on/off button when it 'crashed' (since the os was built in, there was no damage to it when one shut it off). IIRC - the cpu speed was about 8mhz (or slower) but the programs were very very small.
