| Thought that we needed a thread to talk about the latest Warpstock Europe 2006; so for thoose of you that wasn't there - ask about here it here - and for thoose of you that managed to get there - tell about it here! And is you haven't seen the images from Warpstock Europe 2006, check them out here. If you have any comments on the images, post them here as well. I haven't managed to add text to all images yet, but open for suggestions there as well. To mention one thing that I really was happy about to hear is that the upcoming eCS v2.0 will have the SMP kernel as an optional installation feature; so all new Duo core CPU's won't be wasted. |

| There was supposed to be a session on an OS/2 based PBX. Anybody have more info? What special hardware does it need? |

They have made their own PCI-based hardware that does all the work and put it together with a VIA EPIA board and of course their own software. From what I could see it worked really well since all the processing is done on the PCI-card. A photo of the system can be found here. |

Hi ecsguy, this is Thomas Klein from the WSE2006 organisation team. You can contact either Jan Lauer (www.logicconsult.de) who does the "marketing", services and support stuff AFAIK or Wolfram Schmid (www.ws-it.de) who is the developer of software and the controller card. But neither website has current information about the PBX stuff. I think they are just too busy to care for the website... HTH |

| Thanks for that input Thomas, I'm currently at vacation (sitting on a small island in the carribean) and couldn't access my notes and papers from warpstock. |
