Masami released W2_010. This new version support Wacom FAVO3 (Graphire 3), and introduce new tool setMode.exe. setMode can change some of tablet behavior.
setMode [/p:{0|1}] [/m:{0|1}] [/e:n] [/o:n]/p:{0|1} Set which mode pen moves in 0:relative 1:absolute /m:{0|1} Set which mode mouse moves in 0:relative 1:absolute /e:n Set pen-up-detection-threshold in numeric value. When "distance" (how far the pen is from tablet) is over this threshold value, the pen won't work at all. You can check "distance" and "distance max" by tab.exe. Specify 0 (default) to turn off this threshold feature. /o:n Set mouse-up-detection-threshold in numeric value. When "distance" (how far the mouse is from tablet) is over this threshold value, the mouse won't work at all. You can check "distance" and "distance max" by tab.exe. Specify 0 (default) to turn off this threshold feature. |

Direct link: http://www.1drop.net/w/W2_010.zip (If you get 404, you should increment the "010".)W2_xxx.zip doesn't contain any readme or manual. Please refer to another topic "Wacom USB drivers" in this forum about install instruction etc. |

| My friend has got a Wacom INTUOS 2. He has it working with just the IBM OS/2 USB mouse driver, but that works only in relative mode. When he loads usbwcm.sys from W2_010, then the tablet stops working completely. Can you help me figure out what is going wrong? What can I give you from his system (config.sys? usbres device report?) Thanks, Neil

| Isn't the Intuos 2 a serial tablet? If so, you need the other Wacom driver from the site, plus some DLLs from the PenOS2 package. I have these if you are stumped - I'm using an Intuos here very successfully along with the QueenCy graphics packeage. Stuart |

First, please comfirm his USB drivers and mouse driver are latest. Next, pleasr try up-to-date Amouse instead of IBM mouse driver if he is using it. If these not work, he can still try: run rst.exe -This re-initialize Wacom device. run tab.exe - This show Wacom device dump data.I described mini-howto of the Wacom driver in japanese language. I hope that Excite e-translator could translate it in fine English. P.S. Wacom driver is now W2_011. http://www.1drop.net/w/W2_011.zip

| Hello! I am Dong won Chung. I am Korean and I want to use tablet pen with OS/2 word processing program to draw lines and circles over the texts on word processing program. I want to know what kind of tablet pen and what kind of OS/2 word processing program should I use to draw lines and circle traversing on the texts on word process program screen? I don't have hardware, so would you mind testing tablet pen and word processor program you already have to know whether we can draw lines or circles onto the texts displayed on word processing program in OS/2 environment? My email addrss is italianjudge@yahoo.it. Thank you for your help in advance. ******* Your comments *************
