Hi all,

Is there any solution to have automated process of put one small picture (and/or text, maybe by converting text parametar in to picture first) in to other bigger picture on defined coordinates ?
It may be REXX or any free exe.
I only found abbility of resizing pictures for now, using nconvert.

I don't know if it will do it, but Imagemagick can do a lot of command line processing. You can grab a part at:

http://smedley.info/os2ports.html

More information about it can be found at:

http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php

Also, TrueSpectra's old Photo>Graphics can do a lot of command line (REXX) processing of images, and would be able to do what you need, although I've never used it from the command line, so I can't much help with that aspect of it. You can grab a copy off Hobbes at:

Hi all,

AFAIK, the GBM software (generalised bitmap module, aka "gmbos2") can do that too. It might however require some RTFM and creating scripts on your own - I don't know how much you are into rexx or batch files.
It's worth giving it a try. It's fully command-line driven and can do a lot of the basic manipulation stuff like inserting a text into a picture, clipping, resizing, converting...
Oh yes - and it's FREE...
