| Regarding the update announcement of OO2.04 in "OS2 and eCS sofware news" it says that: "...need to access the update from http://www.ecomstation.com -> "Download the latest software and updates", then "OpenOffice.org 2.0 for eComStation public beta 2 (direct ftp-download link)" under "eComStation 1.2 Features:". You won't find the update there. On eCS news portal I found this: "Log in to the Mensys site (not eComstation) and select 'Your This way you'll find the update. /Mikael |

| thank you. as a technologist in the electronics industry, i constantly face untested directions such that its has become a peeve. i pull out 30 year old service manuals from time to time to remind myself of a time when more care, effort, and money were put into such matters. |

I think it depends on how your access is setup. I do not have an OO support agreement so no download via the Mensys site; I am on the OO Testteam and the above seems to be the only way that I can get either the beta or the update. Regards Pete |

| I just wanted to update this a bit. I am running OO.o 2.0 RC! and it rocks but it does run much, much faster on a jfs partition. I have a 2.0 gig JFS partition and I installed it to that. |
