I can only speak for myself, but I've found that for my use, the best Hobbes is going directly to Hobbes online. That way I know I'm getting the latest of whatever it is I'm looking for (one example, I downloaded the latest Danis506 driver just the other day). Furthermore a DVD does not interest me very much, simply because while there is a lot of stuff on Hobbes that I currently have installed on my system, there is also a lot of stuff on Hobbes that I have absolutely no need for. That isn't to say that it isn't useful for anyone else - everyone has different uses for their system. But at this point, I already have a hundred or so CD's and DVD's of software stacked around my house, I don't really need more.
On the other hand, I can see how someone who didn't have a good internet connection would find a Hobbes DVD (such as the one offered by Mensys or others) useful.
