I managed to delete Daryl Pilkington post regarding T31 and SS; but here it's again:

Has anyone got PCMCIA devices to work on the R31?
Cardbus seem O.K. but PCMCIA devices don't register.
Could they post:
Relevant lines in config.sys
Socket driver they are using, with size & date
PCMCIA driver they are using, with size & data
Exact source of the above drivers.

Hi Kim
There are some PCi sniffer tools to find out ones system specific info, i.e.:

Craig Hart's PCI+AGP bus sniffer, version 0.48vkA, freeware made in 1996-2003
PCIsnif b 0.71
PCIscan

I assume a TI is used !?

BTW: Each Thinkpad has its specific model id #, ie. 2366-jbu !
Check its specs on IBM's website !!

Correct, but I'm not the author of the origin question; I had to repost it, so the question is forwarded to Daryl Pilkington

That's listed as supported by Dani's Cardbus Driver. Look for SS2TICB.ZIP on hobbes.

Using ss2ticb.zip, problem as originally described.
Does anyone have a R31 that they are using with PCMCIA, (not Cardbus), devices?
