I believe Innotek has ported it to OS/2-eCS. I think it is at their site at http://www.innotek.de but I am not sure where. I found a link at one place but I have to dig up the location. I tried it and it is pretty good.

It is mentioned at the Innotek site but no place to download it. Thanks for the link. I hope MS does not include this port of OO as one to take to court/to threaten with a lawsuite.

Innotek primary offers OO as a corporate service, but via Mensys one can download it for a small fee.

I am going to have to go out on a limb here and assume that you did not do a search in this forum for the term "openoffice"? Anyway, I did and it took me to a discussion that was held here earlier this year in the applications thread where someone posted a link to where you can get OpenOffice.org/2 from Innotek for free in Beta form. To save you the time of having to find the link I am talking about here is the link from that other discussion:
http://www.innotek.de/products/openofficeos2/beta/

Have fun. It runs quite slow on my eCS 1.03 400 MHz Desktop and I have not managed to get it to run on my Warp v4 laptop as it requires fixpack 16 which I do not have.

Hope it works well for you.

You can get the OpenOffice.org source for free as well, and then modify it so it runs perfectly under Odin, which is free as well, or... you could pay a little fee to Innotek for doing all the work for you.

Hear Ye Hear Ye. Say it louder. if persons had bought more official licences and registered them OS/2 would have been a better product and more widely used. The work being done by a handfull of companies and a small number of programmers can and should be appreciated. Support them by donating funds to a developer or Buy the License. I have 6 Shelves full of OS/2 Warp software 2 zip binders full of CDROMS and diskettes all Paid for in Full. Support the development and companies working to help you make use of the platform of your choice.

I was forced to migrate to the MAC, OS/2 apps did not appear for professional video editing and screenwriting.

No regrets on migrating, however I still support OS/2 systems and will revive it on Virtual PC 7 for the Mac next month to help co support the industry.

The coummunity needs a benevolent billionare to guide it. Anyone ready to step up to the bat.
