I ordered a cd-rom of the Open Office from one of the sellers of it on cd-rom (I chose the http://www.amazon.com person [who was selling it through Amazon.com]). I just received it recently. I have also installed/unzipped the lates build (at least what I could find at http://www.netlabs.org ). I have not tried it yet. Does anyone have any experience with it? Will the Win version of Open Office work with ODIN?

PS I heard of a grouip working a port to OS/2 (of Open Office being ported to OS/2). Is there any progress on it? Is there a site on it? Any information would be appreciated.

You may want to look at Yahoo groups for more information. See eComstation general discussion covering, "Open Office under Odin", "OfficeSuite built on Mozilla", "Money spent on OpenOffice", "How many OS/2 users are still there?" and variations to those.

With Kind Regards,

I check those groups (well most of the ones you suggested) on a regular basis. I read some of the posts but that was before I received the Open Office cd. I will go back and reread them (now that I have the cd, it will have more meaning for me). Thanks for the information.
