The structur of a VideoCD disc is actually really simple and it's just a matter of creating the correct directories etc so the either software players or as well DVD consumer players can play the CDs. Most important thing is that you need to generate the proper mpeg1 video file to be copied out on the disc.. Usually you can count on that you will get in around 45 to 60 minutes of video per disc. If you need a better resolution I would suggest going up to Super VideoCD SVCD. But, you then only be able to record around 25 to 30 minutes of video. But, the quility is to be preferred. Let's say that you have a Digital Video Cammera this format would be of most interest. And usually you don't really need more than 30 minutes to record the X-Mas dinner

As you can see from the above listing the video it self is in the F:\MPEGAV and that is usually enought to keep this directory on the CD and giving the mpeg the name MUSIC01.DAT. This usually works out and is enought to create a VCD.
