The Nokia 6230i mobile phone can be used both as a FAT formatted mass storage device or as a USB communication port(COM1 - COM for GPRS/EDGE Internet connections! The IBM usbcom.sys driver version 1.1 is the right COM -port driver to use.
The Internet can be easily accessed with the InJoy dialer. Just install the InJoy dialer and set the phone number to be *99#. In addition to ordering the service, also the Internet service provider, for example "internet.saunalahti" or "internet" must be set to the Nokia phone.

Hmm. well, I haven't tried to attach my mobile phones to OS2 in ages, well, I wouldn't even think about since I would think that it would never work. But, your posting says something different - got to try!

I also got the internet connection worked.
But it was thru IrDA.
I think this should be possible with all the phones which have the capabilities fo this, the main thing is that you have a working IrDA connection.

If you use some other dialer that injoy, that check if it supports entering the needed dialing number *99#.
