Hi all,
looking at the OS/2 - USB site, and seeing that all the reported pen drives were working correctly with the latest USB drivers (and/or CWUSB drivers) I went quite confidently to buy a pen drive as in the subject. Why THAT one: because we use those at work and I know they work well and reliably.
Now I am able to work with it under Windoze98, but eCS 1.1 with latest USB drivers won't see it at all. Even with CWUSB nothing displays.

Is there anyone with experiance with the subject?
Thankyou in advance...
Bye

Cris

Check and see if you have the following lines in your config.sys i not sure exactly what each does but this is what i have and it works for me.

BASEDEV=USBEHCD.SYS
BASEDEV=USBUHCD.SYS
BASEDEV=USBD.SYS
BASEDEV=USBHID.SYS
BASEDEV=USBMSD.ADD

Then check and see if the device is seen in the USB Resource Manager (found in the system setup folder) If its not then i can't help you.

The only other thing to try would be to click on the LVM refresh Removable media in the Drives folder.

Good luck!

Thankyou very much. You say it works for you. Do you have the same pen drive?

I'm not on my PC now, so I can't verify, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the BASEDEV=USBEHCD.SYS because my USB controller is an UHCI one. Anyway, I'll try to add it and see what happens.

Thankyou again..
Bye

Hi JGiacchi,
another question: are you able to connect/disconnet the pen at runtime or do you have to connect it before starting OS/2?
