| I see that Mono is comming along very nicely ... and I was wondering, are there any us tinkering with a Mono port ? |

| Sure it sounds interesting and will be great to have a port of Mono under OS/2-eCS. But I think it will be more interesting to get a stronger Java and a OS/2-eCS Eclipse port first. Choosing between .Net and Java, I prefer to walk the Java path, since it is more open that .Net, it's multiplatform, and have more choices on the development tools. |

Actually I really don't care much about Eclipse - but I would love a native Tiger or Mustang SDK (J2EE would be nice) But I really don't think we can ignore Mono - especially since eCS seems to be tied closer and closer to GTK+. Well IMO |

Let me change that - I just discovered that my university uses Eclipse ..... WE WANT ECLIPSE NOW :o) |
